Kakadu

Hi everyone, I am now at kakadu national park. Its so lovley here now as im am visiting it in the middle of the wet and dry season so it's not to hot and not to cold.It is lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and the waterfall crashing down 100m away.
The name 'Kakadu' com
es from an Aboriginal floodplain language called Gagudju which was one of the languages spoken in the north of the park at the beginning of the twentieth century. Its amazing to see the range of different birds and how the aboriginals love the bush as much as they do.
Yesterday I saw a group of young UNI students working and i asked them what they were doing, they said that they were from grifith UNI and were doing study on how to irradicate cane toads from the area.
